What is level e in iready?
Level E in i-Ready is generally designed for students in the 4th grade. It aims to build a strong foundation in both reading and mathematics, preparing them for more advanced concepts in later grades.
In Reading, Level E focuses on:
- Reading Comprehension: Understanding complex texts, identifying main ideas and supporting details, and making inferences. Emphasis is placed on both literary and informational texts.
- Vocabulary: Expanding vocabulary through context clues, prefixes, suffixes, and root words.
- Reading Literature: Analyzing story elements like character, setting, plot, and theme. Understanding different genres and literary devices.
- Informational Text: Understanding text structures, identifying the author's purpose, and distinguishing between fact and opinion.
